What a weekend!

We went to Quest this past weekend. The weather was good, a bit hot at times. No rin to speak of which was a good thing. I managet to put a small hole in the tent when taking it out of the trailer. It is a good thign that I have a patch kit on hand for it. Katya had a good time and made a few friends. Linda brought her telescope with her and we got to see Jupiter and 4 of its moons and the rings of Saturn. That was way cool to actually see the rings with my own eyes. On the way home, we had an accident, but the Jeep was nto damaged much, just a minor bend to the frame. The front hitch took the brunt of the impact. We're all OK, nobody got hurt in our vehicle.

This weekend we replaced the front door on the house. Wow, does the house look different, and we can shut the door without having t push on it. What a concept....

I've been busy lately getting the camp gear ready. I am glad that Iset the tent up, as soon as I did, one of the rope loops let loose, and I had to re-sew it onto the tent. I guess I can't really complain, the tent is 10 years old, and this is the second repair that I have had to do.

 

 

 

Well, tonight we're going to see Cirque du Soleil. This will be Katya's first show. I can't wait to see her reactions.. :) it will be fun!
