It's sad when it has to come to this.....

Today was  interesting... Katya loves her outdoor sand & water play center - we st up the rubber floor mats that look like letters & numbers to cover her floor. I switched our office to a new T1 line... Busy day.

 

We're going to be having a BBQ tomorrow for my birthday and Katya's since we were not home to celebrate hers. It looks like we should have decent weather for it which is good. This afternoon I'll set up the fly in the back yard for shade and stuff like that.

 

We went to my parents house last night to do the birthday thing. Katya had her first piece of ice-cream cake. She loved it of course. She also loved the lasagna - We'll make an Italian out of her yet.

 

I haven't posted in a few days because it has been pretty hectic around here latey. Katya has learned about 6 new words and is coming up with new ones every day now. She knows door, walk, drink, and several other new ones. Work is going pretty good too. We're getting into all kinds of new stuff.

Well it's my birthday so we're headed for my parents frop dinner. And what's for dinner? Lasagna! of course...

Good Movie

I watched "The Last Emperor" last night - Excellent flick! I highly recommend watching the Director's Cut if you can. It is not a drama, comedy, or any other such. It is more of a documentary of the life of the last emperor of China. It was very well done (yes, it is over 3 hours) but well worth it.

 

No dirtty diaper - doesn't have to go to the bathroom, doesn't want out of the crib... go figure. She'll figure it out soon enough....
