Well, its been a bit busy lately. This weekend we replaced the diverter in the shower since the old one refused to shut off even after I replaced the rubber gaskets. Oh well, it's done now. We changed over to a single valve setup instead of the 3 knob like we had. I still have to set the max temp on it so Katya can't burn herself. I guess this is a good feature to have. I have never used one of these before so I am still getting used to it.

Sadly, it seems you've lost your appreciation for a challenge in your old age :). But, that's cool. I figure if I were in your shoes, and I saw a bizarre post like the one I left, I'd probably start wondering what nutcase wrote it.

So, to put an abrupt end to the little game, I might as well come clean. Playing the part of your "blast from the past" is none other than the sailor formerly known as Lone Wolf. Or, if you prefer, just plain old Ron :).

I was just wandering aimlessly along the internet one night, and somehow found myself here. To be honest, I'm not even quite sure how I got here :).

To briefly explain the two "clues" I left you last time, the one asking how "the Kidd" is doing was a reference to the one and only Kaos Kidd. As for "Balance of Terror", well...if a Star Trek fan like yourself doesn't remember that episode, I suppose there's no salvation left for you :). Star Trek is a reference to The Final Frontier, and from there, well, it should be obvious.

And just to show you my good will and intentions, I shall bestow upon you a small gift. Here's a great example of what happens when you mix a house, a bunch of Christmas lights, a non-traditional Christmas song (off of a GREAT album, I might add), and a person that has entirely too much time on their hands to edit some stopmotion photography into a video. I don't know who made it, but I think it's pretty cool :).

I'll drop you an email tomorrow, so if you see an email from valmoor1@yahoo.com, it's not spam, it's from me.

Take care, man. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

Ron

Sorry, no time to send off an email like I said I would. My mother passed on this evening, so I'm sure you can understand. I'm heading back home to Jersey in the morning, so maybe I'll drop you a letter while I'm home.

Take care,

Ron.
