One of the biggest reasons I haven't really played much with Linux so
far is that most of the things I do don't run on Linux. Well, I use
Thunderbird for Email, and Firefox for the web. Both have Linux
versions. Quicken doesn't run on Linux, but Wine may make it work (Wine
is a Windows emulator of sorts for Linux). I did get Evernote to work in
Linux tonight, which is way cool since I do use it quite a bit. I
haven't checked all the functions in it yet, but I can definitely access
all of my notes that are stored in Evernote. One thing at a time I guess...
